For more than 100 years, this has been the home of Universal Studios.

We care about our community, and remain committed to making it an even better place to live. That’s why we invest in our neighborhoods: partnering with schools and community groups, supporting local businesses, improving our roadways and transit connections, and volunteering thousands of hours here in our own backyard.

Because we’re not just neighbors, we’re partners: Universal & You.

We're pleased to share with you the latest happenings at the property and continue working together to build a stronger NBCUniversal.

New Employee
Childcare Center

Construction is underway for a new childcare center located in the middle of our property. We are proud to continually invest in our employees and their families by providing this new facility, which will accommodate twice as many children as the current building. Construction is slated to be complete in early 2018.

Expanding Fire
Station 51

We’re nearly finished with an extensive upgrade to the County’s Fire Station 51 that serves the Universal Studios lot as well as the community. We expanded the station to accommodate a new Tiller Quint, a specialized fire truck that can be steered in both the front and the back. This allows the tiller to make sharp turns, which is helpful on narrow streets.

Comcast Cares Day

Over 1,000 employees volunteered to beautify North Hollywood High School and the Los Angeles River on Comcast Cares Day in April. As part of this special day of community service, a donation was split amongst the school and nonprofit partners Friends of the L.A. River and City Year Los Angeles.

This year we also sponsored the Greater Toluca Lake Neighborhood Council Earth Day, the Toluca Lake Pancake Breakfast where Minions greeted kids, the Taste of Studio City, Movies in the Park, and National Night Out, among other events in our area.
