Uniting to Make a Difference

NBCUniversal Launches New Social Impact Initiative

Comcast NBCUnites Launched this year, is the newest company-wide initiative committed to making a positive change in the communities in which employees live and work. To date Comcast NBCUnites has engaged more than 3,000 employees, aiding tens of thousands of individuals.

This initiative is largely focused on three specific areas of outreach:
Empowering Students
Protecting our Environment
Supporting Underserved Communities

In addition to these activities, NBCUniversal has also:

- Hosted blood drives in conjunction with the Red Cross to potentially save more than 1,000 lives

- Volunteered at animal facilities to support sheltered pets

- Expanded its partnership with Lollipop Theater, a non-profit that brings movies currently in theaters to children in hospitals
